At TRL Handmade Furniture, your satisfaction with our custom-crafted products is our top priority. Due to the tailored nature of our furniture, returns and refunds have specific guidelines:
Returns
As each piece is made just for you, returns are not accepted unless there is a defect in manufacturing or materials. Please contact our team if this occurs so we can make it right.
Refunds
Issued solely in cases of unresolvable defects. We will always repair or replace a flawed product first before considering a refund.
Our 15-Year & 5-Year Guarantee
Our TRL products are covered by our manufacturer’s guarantees — an industry-leading 15-Year Manufacturer’s Guarantee for solid premium woods (Walnut, Oak, Beech, Ash, Sapele and Iroko), and an incredible 5-Year Manufacturer’s Guarantee for our Staved Oak, Staved Walnut, Sleek & Slender, Chunky & Sturdy, and Canadian ranges. Both guarantees protect against any manufacturing defects.
Please contact us immediately if any defect arises so that we can make arrangements for any necessary repairs. Please note that the guarantee may be void if your order is not being used in the way it is intended or is in the wrong environment it was not manufactured for.
Any issues should be reported within 7 days of the issue first being noticed and should be accompanied by photos of the concerned area plus a full product photo to aftercare@trlfurniture.com who will then advise on the next steps or request further information.
Cancellations
Must be requested within 24 hours of ordering since production begins quickly. By ordering, you agree to these policies.

Exchanges
As each piece of our handmade bespoke furniture is crafted to order, we maintain a minimal return policy. Exchanges or returns will only be accepted in cases of:
- Manufacturing defects
- Significant damage incurred during delivery
If you believe your item has a defect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with detailed photos and a description of the issue. Our team will assess the situation and determine the best course of action, which may include a repair, replacement, or partial refund.
Please note that minor variations in colour, grain, and texture are inherent to natural materials and craftsmanship and will not be considered defects. Exchanges are free of cost. Refunds can take up to 1-3 business days.
